A like, a comment, a restack, or sharing elsewhere are all different kinds of support, and I think readers should feel free to choose whichever feels authentic to them. Sometimes I absolutely love a piece and restack it. Other times I enjoy it, leave a thoughtful comment, and that's the right level of endorsement for me. I don't think either choice is wrong.
I suppose I'd rather invite people to restack when something genuinely resonates with them than make it feel like an obligation. Authentic recommendations tend to carry more weight than expected ones.
That said, I do agree with your larger point: many people probably don't realize how much a restack can help an author. Simply raising awareness of that is valuable.
