If you want me, you can find me

Emerging form the Bunker to take in "The Passing Show"

The "Bunker Philospher" emerging from the Bunker to take in "The Passing Show"

Ambient Findability - A book that was a part of my collection but that may be gone; I haven’t seen it in a while now anyway. It just came up as I’m sitting down to write this morning. I don’t mean to be found unless someone really wants to know me, however.

What’s this all about, observer? Take my fingers and use them to tell us our story.

“OK, so I’ll step in - I don’t much like to comment on what I’m recording. I just watch. I take down everything and ensure that it’s here for the Akashic Records, you know? You, Hal, tend to do your best ‘Hal Gill’ impersonation, as you move from ‘dawn to dusk and back again.’ You have never liked your label. You’ve always felt a little lost.”

Thanks, that’s true. So now that you and I are in dialogue, what of it? What’s the next move?

“I think you know what’s next. You have the needs of the animal that you inhabit to address. So, take a few minutes and do what must be done. You’re pretty regular that way. We can take this up when you are done, but if you don’t take care of that animal you walk around in, you won’t be incarnate much longer.”

Fair enough! I’ll be right back.

“That’s better, and now, this Wednesday, you need to get yourself out of the door and put a little something out there about ‘The Passing Show’ or you aren’t going to get your seat at the Club. You’ll need to turn off the King CrimsonCD you must put on. It’s a recording of the NOvember 29, 1995 performance in Chicago, Illinois, the end of the tour. They’d played the IC Light Amphitheater in Pittsburgh that summer but you didn’t go. You probably were in Germany at the time since you spent most of the summer studying at the University of Augsburg. Do you remember that?”

I do, and you’re right. I’m going to step away from the computer here in the Bunker and head out onto the street. I think I’ll just post this as a teaser. Longer writing will be coming.
