It’s like that, isn’t it, Observer?
“It is. Now that you’ve handed me the microphone, you might regret it. I usually lurk out of sight of your mind’s eye, recording everything you think, say, and do. As you yourself observe, ‘When all is said and done, a whole lot more is said than done!’ Isn’t that Thela Hun Ginjeet that King Crimson’s performing? ‘This is a dangerous place!’ Yes, it is.”
So, what’s so dangerous about this place?
“Well, now that you ask, it might not be too dangerous right now, but it is quite disorganized. You’ll need to become a different person to really do anything about it.”
This is probably true, observer. I have not shown myself to be very interested in doing a lot about the amount of clutter that surrounds me. I have a habit of deciding it is an installation of some artist that I am. There are so many selves here, you know?
“That’s true. You are not just you. You are all the selves that inhabit the body of the animal that carries you around. That animal is dependent on so many other entities for its condition. Your microbiome is the tip of the iceberg. Do you remember reading that Calvin and Hobbes cartoon years ago where Calvin comes to the conclusion that all historical processes have led up to him being here now? Hobbes asks, ‘Well, now that you’ve had that revelation, what do you want to do?’ Calvin replies, ‘Let’s go watch cartoons!’”
I remember it well and I remember it as having a direct connection to the Jefferson Airplane’s “Crown of Creation” - that title track from the album of the same name.
”You’re listening to Lather now. You remember living this, don’t you?”
Yes, but stop there, we don’t need to get into such private memories.
“Fair enough, let’s look into the layers under the desire to stay childish and figure out what that’s all about. After all, you made a comment earlier that you were just scratching the surface but could plumb the depths of your existence here.”
That is true. I did say that. I have some fear of doing it because I don’t know what I’m going to find down there at the bottom of the human condition “where the nit slams into the grit” as Wavy Gravy said. I think it could be very much a Lovecraftian experience. Chthulu may be asending.
“I think you’re obfuscating. There’s really nothing to fear and a whole lot of love down at the depths. It’s all love really. Fear is just a shadow of the omnipresent light. It is immaterial. It’s all immaterial. It’s all energy.”
I’ve known that for a while, intellectually speaking, but now, as I listen to “In Time,” I’m reflecting on what it felt like to be. I have been, haven’t I? I’m grateful for the sensation of having been united with those that I have loved. It’s been so long. Been so long is the title of Jorma Kaukonen’s memoir. I’m looking forward to meeting him in person in Wilmington, Delaware and Jack Casady too post show.
“You do tend to bounce from one thing to the next. Do you want to tell our audience about this opportunity you’re going to have in October?”
Sure, I won a silent auction to meet Jorma and Jack in an “after show” meet and greet at a show of my choice. I’m a little hesitant to do so. I’m kind of shy of taking up any time of any celebrity. I feel that they have so much of their energy taken up by fans. I’ve enjoyed being a peripheral presence rapt in silent appreciation of their art, shared with their audiences, and I have wanted to “move the needle” a little for them. So, that’s kind of what “rings those lofty bells'“ for me. Now “Triad” is playing. Written by the late David Crosby about a menage-a-trois way of life. I think he lived that, if I’m not mistaken. He lost a great love of his life to a tragic automobile accident. “Guinnevere” is about that. “Green-Eyed Lady” is coming up too now in memory.
“‘Why can’t we go on as three?’”
You are suggesting bringing in an OTHER SELF, Observer?! I know you are. I’m not sure. Anima, are you available.”
“Who wants to know? Who dares raise me from my sleep?”
We do.
“I think I might regret it.”
“I haven’t spoken since the last time we spun into a rage, our sense of dignity having been offended. You wouldn’t let me start wearing a sword. You know my out-picturing in the world holds a medal in ‘lady’s longsword,’ right?!”
I know that well and was sharing an image of you in a note just recently, holding an automatic weapon of some sort when you were out there on a “Zombie Walk” in Malmo, Sweden.
“You know that no one is going to be able to follow your way of thinking, right?”
Well, the Anima writes in quotation marks and italics. You just use quotations. If we add any other voices, I guess they’ll have to write in bold.
“Within you, I’m Eris — The goddess of Chaos. I am eternal and the source of all. You thought I might be Kali, but she’s just a projection of my consciousness.”
No telling where this might lead. I hadn’t expected it when the Observor invited you in, Eris/Anima.
“No one every plans for what we might get up to. It’s part of the fun of existence. Who else is lurking in the labyrinth of synapses?”
I shudder to think. Now there is a loaded statement! Shuddering….vibrating…it’s all vibration and energy.
“Obfuscation by labeling and intellectualization. You are the prince of not only indiscretion but also of rationalization. When are you going to just FEEL!?”
“‘Break china laughing…If you feel like love flying….If you feel.’ Crown of Creation rolls on as you write.”
Thanks Observer. Eris/Anima can really call me out. She shoots from the hip. She’s too quick to track. All of these are projections. Creative imagination - I feel a “Red Book” coming on.

“Soon you’ll attain the stability you strive for in the only way that it’s granted…” - the title track is playing now. It is a distraction and it’s time for the post to be sent out into the echoing halls of cyberspace. The exercise is at an end for now.
Let us, as Neville Goddard would say, “Enter into the Silence”
“My life is to survive - and be alive - for you!”
