Your story is inspiring ✨️. "My truck had driven me to the ABC store on Monticello Avenue against my will earlier that evening..." the same thing happened to me many years ago...reading that made me laugh.

It’s funny and it isn’t. The alcoholic mind is so twisted. I keep stepping over the bodies…if this was war, the carnage… well, words fail. Buddy used to say, “There’s a fine line between awful, and awful funny.”

That I didn’t die of alcohol poisoning a few times over is a testament to my having “a body built for alcoholism.” My liver function is always spot on. Cardiovascular condition is excellent. I carry more weight than I should but, at 62, on no medications of a prescribed nature. I’m, as my wife told paramedics taking me to George Washington Hospital for acute heat stroke in 2022, “obnoxiously healthy.” That story is in the 2022 KSKQ interview link. It’s worth the time!
