The Way Ahead
Putting a number of irons in the fire - I'm going to have to be quick with the hammer and tongs!
I’m up early having spent some time with
gathering some information about her coaching services. If you don’t know her work yet, check it out!I’m listening now to
checking in with us from Rome a few days ago. She is remarking on the slings and arrows of misfortune that are heading toward our society. Even as we are aware of that, we have to express joy and gratitude for being alive.I hope that all of you will take a minute to revisit this video of her leading a choir in “People Have the Power” -
I’ll be seeing her at the Anthem on the Wharf here in DC in late November. I’ll start that month by attending a celebration performance by Jorma Kaukonen at DC’s Warner Theater marking his 85th birthday. Never regret growing older. It’s a privilege denied to many.
I have to take my 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid over to the shop in a short time, but wanted to write this post to describe my journey to myself, if nothing else. I’m thinking of engaging the services of a coach largely to help get me on track and moving after a year of fiddling about with the Harold B Gill Foundation, LLC and not making as much progress as I might have liked to have done. I’m also looking forward to the next installment of “The Kay Stoner Show” on “Harrowings Podcast” at 10 AM today. We’ve been having great conversations which I believe a lot of people have enjoyed.
The weekend will include my wife’s birthday on Saturday. I hope to be back to take her out to dinner by this evening. We’ll see how the work on the car goes. I’m heading to the Annapolis Baygrass Music Festival which should be a hoot. I’m particularly looking forward to seeing Holly Bowling perform as she’ll be one of the artists at large. Holly’s Wilderness Sessions really helped get me through the pandemic summer. At about 1 hour 10 minutes into this one…
….she gives me a shout-out for helping to fund her album, Seeking All That’s Still Unsung. My name even appears in the gatefold as a supporter, for which I am very grateful. If there’s one thing that I have done in my life that has left a mark, it may well be that support of artists like her and other creators is it.
This reminds me, another thing I have done is to help fund www.crackedupmovie.com and I’d like to leave you all with this and I hope you’ll take the time to watch it:
With that, I have to hit the road, but tune in at 10 AM to “Harrowings Live” - I would really appreciate your presence when
and I get back on and do it again.Onward!
