What’s it going to be, fellow humans? What can I be but grateful that we have arrived here and now? What are the odds that you and I would come to inhabit this jewel of a planet at this particular time in history? What are we going to do about it? What?
It was probably Easter of my seventh or eighth year that my father brought home the Jesus Christ Superstar album (released in 1970). In it, the apostles challenge Christ who says that not one of them cared whether he came or went with the refrain “How Can You Say That?” repeatedly…but he is sure that he has not been comprehended.
