Harrowings Podcast - Scott Guberman

For Episode 3 of the Harrowings Podcast Interviews, I sit down with Scott Guberman to talk about music and bringing people together in our harrowing times.

I am very grateful to Scott Guberman for both providing us with the gift of music as an exceptionally talented keyboardist. I last saw him perform on April 4, at the Hamilton Live here in DC with “Live Dead and Brothers” - an all-star combination that covered the works of not only the Allman Brother and the Grateful Dead, but also a chilling version of Ohio that particular night. We cannot forget our past or we are in danger of repeating it. Harrowings is all about churning up the surface of our quotidian experiences and looking at the root-causes. It’s our belief here that the redemption of our species lies in our capacity to create art, music, and literature.

Harrowings Podcast - Lisa Law

Today’s attempt to do a Substack Live was not successful but Lisa Law and I were able to catch up over Zoom instead! We’ll keep on working on the polish but Lisa comes through loud and clear. I hope you all enjoy this visit with my good friend and cultural icon. More to come!
