A little hello - a note of appreciation - a little bit of what is happening in the immediate surrounding - all this and a big thank you to my supporters. I’m doing what I can to be a good steward of several legacies and, as promised, here’s a shot of the performance of the “Williamsburg Field Musick” at Deep River 2019 where I acquired the T-Shirt that I’m wearing today.
I am the second fifer from the left as you look at the video. Left to right we have the standard-bearer, silversmith Preston Jones, Jr., Paul Vosteen, myself, Thomas DeRose, William Parks, and finally Miles Schell. We are led by my generations Sergeant Major, Lance Pedigo, ably assisted on snare by Clare Provoncha and on the bass drum we have Alex Rowell, I believe. I might have our bass drummer’s name wrong. We came together just for this performance and then went our separate ways again but spent a great few days together.
